ONLY 2 MORE WEEKS TIL I AM OUT OF OMAHA CRAZY STORMS & IN UTAH. . .
This is our house and our ONE tree. The path of the storm went in our front yard!

This one landed on the door step of our neighbor.
Our tree, and our neighbors trees all got the brunt of it. It is sure bare now.
On the door step1. We are still Alive
2. The storm only damaged the city for about 10 mins.
3. Our power was only off for about 24hours.
4. We had the presence of the missionaries with us at dinner when it hit.
5. We had flashlights and a lantern
6. Our water was still on and our gas was still on.
7. We got to go to bed early- No power or TV or computers to distract us.
8. The wind cooled off the day.
9. We got to see how to BE PREPARED first hand
10. We have a roof over our head!
These are just a few things we realized during our deadly storm that hit. I am thankful for the sirens that went off as a warning. We really need to take them more serious. But I was making dinner for the Elders. When I looked out the window and saw Tyler's metal dump trucks flying in the parking lot- I screamed "IN THE BASEMENT- NOW" We hung out there with the Elders for about 10 mins. The sight when we came back up stairs was INSANE!!!!
